If you are here, you may be interested in submitting a story to us.
You may have read one of our stories and said, "Hey, I can do that!" or maybe you have been invited here from one of the Internet forums.
So here is the deal.
We provide you a place to host your story. This is free of charge to you. Although if you have a subsciption this will help us keep going and keeping this site "free". In exchange we format your story and place it online for everyone to read. We get to keep your story and you get to link to the story and share it with all your family and friends. Once hosted we will create a folder that will hold the stories and images that you can link to in forums or other social networking websites. You then can use a link to share your story with all your friends and family. You are not limited to how long your story is or how many images you use to tell it. We may change the size of your images to fit with formatting and advertising space and arrange your story for everything to work. We will not edit your stories for you and you should edit your stories before you send them to us. We recommend that you do not use words or phrases that others may consider objectionable. We want this to be a family place.
**You are responsible for the content you have written and the images you have submitted.**
So how do you submit stories to us?
Simple, send an email to
Your story should be a simple text file without formatting other than paragraph spacing.
Paragraph spacing is important to help define time as well as provide places for ad insertion.
You can submit Word,RTF,TXT files.
Where you would like to have your images placed, have a single line that says,
"INSERT IMAGE#1 HERE"
Include a title for your story and your byline.
If you haven't already, we will need a picture of you for the story index page.
Once your story is hosted we will email you the address of your story and where you can find your images for linking.
We may elect to not host your story.
Although we don't tell you how many images you can have in a story all images hosted must be relevant to the story and we may elect to edit some of the images if you sent in 5 pictures of your big toe. If you are just looking for a place to host your images, we suggest you look around on the Internet, there already is tons of website that do this. When you send your images to us we recommend you compress them with a program such as PK ZIP to make the file you send us be more manageable.
It is important to us that if you came to us from an Internet forum that you continue to support that forum. It is also recommended that you place a link to your story on the forum along with some text in the story as to what forum you may be on. Forums are a great place and this website is built around working with the forums and other social networking sites. If you acknowledge a forum in your story, people can come ask you questions about your story or maybe you want to ask questions about places you may go next. This way we still get the benefit of the Internet forum along with the ability to write out a well thought out and edited story.
And some fine print. We are also avid riders and hope that while you are reading this page we are out on the road and working on our next story. With that said, we don't sit by the email waiting for your submissions. It could be some time before we reply to you. Although we should be checking in every 7 days. We will reply once we have received your email and will get back to you shortly if we decide to use your story or not. Be patient.
