Out of Thinair: Stories from the Road
Thinair is a website dedicated to providing space on the Internet for motorcycle rider stories. This is a collection of stories from a variety of authors whose first hand accounts and experiences are documented here for your reading enjoyment. This website, unlike any other Internet medium is for the stories that have been written out to be enjoyed while sitting with a cup of jo. You might even prefer a cold brew but whatever your beverage of choice we are sure our stories will entertain you.
This website came from an idea that emerged from my frustrations with trying to write stories online using existing methods. There was many obstacles to posting a longer post from limited amount of images and sizes to Internet timeouts and all work being lost. But even with the problems I didn't want to stop my postings on the forums. The online communities is a great place to get and give information. I still post even today. Initially I had hoped to find a group of sponsors to provide a place for the stories I wrote. However everyone wanted me to write just for them which made it expensive to a small business as opposed to a great deal for the sponsors to spread out the cost of writing and riding full time. So Thinair.cc was reborn, like a phoenix from the ashes.
It is our intent to provide a collection of stories that you will read and tell your friends about and have them come here too. Maybe you too are a writer and would like to submit a story to us. With several authors contributing you will come back again and again to keep up on the stories we have. To the authors we provide space free of charge for them to host their stories and images. Although we change formatting to accommodate space and advertising, the stories are the work of the authors and are their words. The authors can then link back to the story and share with their family and friends via email or on social network sites or other Internet forums.
This is not a place for open communication with the authors. For that we recommend checking out the links section and clicking on one of the many reader forums already providing a place to exchange comments and ask questions. Authors may also visit the forums in the links section and you might find them there or maybe they are coming by your neighborhood and may need your input on places to see and things to do. Please visit the forums in our links page and tell them, Thinair sent you.
